Welcome to Vessey Art, the home of original paintings and prints by watercolour and acrylic artist Richard Vessey.

A railway and transport specialist, Richard’s artwork includes paintings of steam trains such as the Flying Scotsman, Mallard, Mayflower, and new locomotive Tornado, alongside other locomotives and railway scenes.

Richard is also renowned for his landscapes and depictions of historic buildings in Yorkshire and the North Midlands; particularly around Gainsborough, Doncaster, Lincoln, and the Bassetlaw villages of Misterton, Gringley-on-the-hill, Beckingham and Walkeringham.

On these pages you will find a selection of his extensive art collection – including scenes of the Yorkshire Dales, Lake District, Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire, Norfolk, Suffolk. Scottish Highlands and Prague.
